Historic monumental complex
The Acque della Salute complex, also known as the Corallo Thermal Baths, is an example of early 20th-century Art Nouveau architecture and is currently in a severe state of neglect and decay. The Municipality of Livorno launched a public tender for the survey of the entire complex.
How did we reveal it?
3D survey and reconstruction supporting multiple interventions
We won the tender also thanks to our technical proposal to deliver many construction details as 3D models directly generated from the point cloud, allowing the creation of accurate “copies” of elements such as windows, capitals, and the fountain, which will be used for their restoration or complete reconstruction.
Detailed surveys were also carried out on the polychrome ceramics that characterize the façades of the main pavilions, using photogrammetry combined with the point cloud for precise dimensional control.
The 3D survey also served as the geometric base for the video mapping show created by Immersiva for the 2020 Amedeo Modigliani Centenary.
