Historical monument complex
The Acque della salute or Terme del Corallo complex is an example of early 20th century Art Nouveau architecture and is in a serious state of neglect and decay. The City of Livorno has issued a public tender for the survey of the entire complex.
How did we unveil it?
3D surveying and reconstruction serving multiple interventions
We also won the tender for the technical proposal to return many construction details with 3D models directly from the point cloud of the survey, so that we can deliver a "copy" of these elements (fixtures, capitals, the fountain, etc.) that will be used for their restoration or full renovation.
Detailed survey also on the polychrome ceramics that characterize the facades of the main pavilions, made by photogrammetry and overlapping with the point cloud for precision dimensional control. The 3D survey served as the geometric basis for the 2020 Amedeo Modigliani Centennial video mapping show created by the Immersiva company.
